Transforming Luxury & Inspiration

Once upon a time in a far away place called Los Angeles, there was a woman named Tammie Hoffman. Tammie was a classy LA Girly-girl type who always wore the finest shoes, dresses and skirts, and had her manis and pedis on a regular basis! She also had the brain cells to open to her own mortgage and loan company which she operated for a period of over 14 years, later transforming luxury and inspiration as this story is told.

Tammie got bored with the hustle and bustle of LA life. She next decided to move her family, consisting of one daughter and two sons, and her loving husband to the North West region of our country.  Seattle is where Tammie and her husband made their family’s new home. The great news was that the entire family was very content with their new lives in Seattle.

Tammie Hoffman – Transforming Luxury

As the months went by Tammie got started in a totally new adventure as a House Flipper, with very little experience! This LA Girly-girl didn’t quite give up her fancy shoes or her regularly scheduled manis and pedis! However with her new adventure Tammie wasn’t wearing chic clothing or  walking the red carpet in Seattle as a House Flipper. Instead she jumped into a pair of blue jeans and a sweat shirt as her new work attire. Tammie also used a skill saw and a hammer along with a diamond tipped wet saw for cutting flooring tiles. She also painted, stained, and even put in hardwood floors. She installed brand new cabinets, sinks, bathtubs and toilets and even landscaped the entire front and back yard on her transformation.

We have a complete home restoration video illustrating the Before, During, and After at Tammie’s Union Hill address!

WARNING!!! The Human brain has the attention span of a gnat! So we urge you to grab a beverage of your choice, sit back, and relax while the show is playing. Some of the most amazing views in Tammie’s home video are towards the end, where you see the final product produced by this amazing woman! We hope you enjoy the show!

Uriel Cazes is a painter with excellent use of colors. He is painting oil on canvas and also doing paintings on paper, drawings and most recently digital studies. Since almost 30 years his main work is paintings about Jewish life, so he is one of the few artists painting about Judaism living abroad. Israeli art magazine described him recently as a painter of modern Judaica. Uriel Cazes is painting figurative but not naturalistic. He is concentrating on people with mostly Jewish backgrounds, telling stories from ancient times and from the bible. His figures seem to be in distance to the others but also in communication, harmony and caring. The style is expressionistic, he uses different techniques of composing colors and spaces on the canvas. He is giving most figures black contours, which provides a stronger placement to the figures. Also he is using Hebrew letters as orientation and explanation, which makes some of these paintings like official ancient documents. The main cycle, “Jewish life” was painted from 1989 until nowadays, showing scenes of the life of Jews through religious festivals and biblical stories. In 2011 he produced the cycle “10 commandments” and in 2014 the cycle “documents – the 12 tribes” about the Jewish tribes of old Israel.

In the 90s he painted his “bridges” as mostly colorful big cocoons. This was his way to face the upcoming intercultural problems in the world. Besides that Uriel Cazes claims, not to be a religious or political artist. But his paintings show harmony and peace and, though its Jewish content, also many Christian and Muslim people recognize parts of their own history in Uriel’s works.

Since 2014, Uriel Cazes is also working on digital techniques to create designs for Vitrages. It is one of his most important goals, to do Vitrages with his design in large buildings like Synagogs, churches, Mosques or other big buildings.

Searching for new home decor is one of the most exciting parts about decorating a new home. From the colors, the art work, the style and even era it comes from, it will always be so many choices to make. When looking through home decor always keep an open mind, you never know what you might like. Color is key to any room in a home. It sets the mood you are trying create and gives life to everything in it. Dynamic Pairings are making a tread this year. ” For 2015, pair the classics with unexpected accents to make the scheme dynamic and vibrant– I love black, grey and white with splashes of red, and brown, blue, and green with orange citrus tones” Interior Designer Malcolm James Kunter in a recent interview with House Beautiful. One color that is making a strong push this year is Greek blue. It’s rich color that is normally found in the Mediterranean and used in church morals can be paired with grey, red, and pinks. This amazing blue gives the feeling of spring and summer all year long. Living rooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms can all be featured and accented with this color.
When it comes to hosting dinner parties and having guess over, having the perfect kitchen and dinning room sets are what most people want. Your kitchen and dining room sets will see their fair share of use. So the best option is to go with something durable and long lasting. It’s vital that you invest in durable dining sets and kitchen furniture, including bar stools, pantry cabinets, kitchen islands, sideboards and bar carts that will hold up to the chaos. Wider and more open spaces for company is key. Matte black marble finished counters give the kitchen a larger and more open look. Having lots of counter space is key when having dinner parties or even just company of your own.

In the bedroom there are many important features that create the setting you want in the most used room in your home. From the bed, headboards, dressers, and armories; to the night stands, pillows, laps and artwork there are many directions you can go. It may be debatable, but the bed and headboard can be one of the more important pieces to the bedroom. The bed reflects you and your sense of style. If you like a timeless look a canopy bed is a great pick, or try an ornate wood headboard with a standard frame. If you’re on the new and modern, opt for an upholstered headboard with nailhead accents, patterned fabric, unique shape or tufted design. A modern platform unit is great too, especially since you won’t need to buy a foundation or box spring. And when it comes to a guest bedroom, make sure you have room for a couple.

Depending on your home layout, the living room can be used many ways. Most traditionally, rugs, artwork, curtains and bookshelves are the staple points to the room. If you have a fireplace use it as a focal point, an amazing sophisticated mantel can be just that. Don’t be afraid of bright color but also don’t get too ambitious. Given that it is the living room, one bright color accented by a white or grey can make your living room simple but yet sophisticated. Mirrors, lamps and ceiling lights can help light travel and flow through the space.

This year there are many ways to go about your home decor. But the right way is the what you like. Do something unique and keep your eye open, you might try something you never have before
