Memorial Day Cup of Motivation
This week starts off with Memorial Day. We all need to stop and thank those who gave all so we could have the freedom we enjoy today. Let’s honor them by living the life they fought for. Imagine a world where we are not free. We see on TV what is happening in other parts of the world and we could not imagine what it must be like to live there. We are so amazingly blessed to live where we do. Can you imagine if we took our biggest problems we face today overseas. For the most part, our first world problems would be laughed at. For those of us living in the United States, a huge percentage of today’s problems that we currently face will be forgotten by this time next year. Our veterans have ensured that we have the freedom to work things out for us as long as we face our challenges head on and keep moving forward. The truth is we live in the greatest country on the world. Think about all the blessings we have in our lives and then compare them to all the problems we have. When we list them side by side, our problems are minimal and our blessings are many. This week, remember that things can always be better but they could also be so much worse so let’s count our blessings and stop our stressing. Let’s hug our kids and our family today and remember how fortunate we are. We have the freedom to choose what we do today, tomorrow and in the future. This is a huge gift that goes hand in hand with Memorial Day. Let’s make the most of this gift and have a phenomenal week!!
You cannot stay on the summit forever;
you’ve to come down again.
So why bother in the first place?
Because what is below does not know what is above, but what is above knows what is below.
One climbs, one sees.
One descends, one sees no longer,
but one has seen.
There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by what one saw higher up.
When one can no longer see,
One can at least still know.
The Three Simple Rules In Life
1. If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.
2. If you don’t ask, the answer will always be NO.
3. If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place.
GREAT WORDS TO LIVE BY…
Being positive does not mean the negative things in life do not exist. Being positive simply means overcoming the negativity you meet on your journey.
So many times I wish I could have lived my life without making mistakes. In reality, a path like that doesn’t exist. We fall. We get lost. We make mistakes. We get up and LIVE!
No matter how good or bad your life is, wake up each morning and be thankful that you still have one.
Happiness is not a destination or a an experience. It’s a decision.
Our goodness doesn’t come down to what we have in our bank. It comes down to what we have in our hearts.
On this road called life, you have to take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you got, and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget, learn from your mistakes, but never regret. People change. Things go wrong. But just remember, the ride goes on.
The most treasured gifts are the meaningful moments we create with the people we love. They become priceless memories decorating our lives.
F.E.A.R has two meanings. Forget Everything And Run OR Face Everything And Rise. The choice is yours.
This week, Face Everything And Rise!
